[Abstract]:On December 2 , 2016 , President Trump of the United States and Taiwan ' s leader , Mr . Tsai , opened a phone call , which broke the usual practice since the " break - off " in 1979 . After that , Mr . Trump opened a series of sensitive comments concerning the " one - China " policy . More than one Chinese scholar , Mr .
