【摘要】：在當(dāng)下中國(guó)的社會(huì)文化環(huán)境中,流行于一部分中產(chǎn)階層公民中的集體閱讀等文化活動(dòng)是如何得以表達(dá)和實(shí)踐的?這些實(shí)踐是否對(duì)于公民身份具有意義?基于田野數(shù)據(jù)以及福柯的倫理自我概念,通過詳細(xì)考察中國(guó)南部某沿海城市一個(gè)閱讀社群的成員培養(yǎng)倫理自我的四個(gè)方面——倫理實(shí)體、主體化模式、形成自我的實(shí)踐以及目的,我們發(fā)現(xiàn):即使這些文化實(shí)踐者不一定認(rèn)為或清晰地意識(shí)到他們的實(shí)踐屬于某種形式的公民參與,但這些以自我培養(yǎng)為主旨的、指向內(nèi)在的文化實(shí)踐仍具有公民意義。
[Abstract]:In the current Chinese social and cultural environment, how can the cultural activities such as collective reading, which are popular among some middle class citizens, be expressed and practiced? Are these practices relevant for citizenship? Based on the field data and Foucault's concept of ethical self-concept, this paper examines in detail the four aspects of cultivating the ethical self of members of a reading community in a coastal city in southern China, namely, the ethical entity and the mode of subjectivization. We find that even though these cultural practitioners do not necessarily think or clearly realize that their practices belong to some form of civic participation, they are aimed at self-cultivation. The cultural practice pointing to the inside is still of civil significance.
