【摘要】：國際標準書號(ISBN)是國際出版業(yè)和圖書貿(mào)易通用的標識編碼,歷經(jīng)50年發(fā)展演變,已被全球160余個國家和地區(qū)廣泛采用,為出版業(yè)界所熟知。但學界對國際標準書號的歷史研究仍有諸多不足。本文在厘清國際標準書號發(fā)展歷史的基礎(chǔ)上,糾正了相關(guān)文獻中的訛誤,補充了1970年以前英國標準書號(SBN)的發(fā)展歷程,明確了國際標準書號的設(shè)計者及SBN的校驗碼算法,并深入分析了國際標準書號升位的原因。
[Abstract]:ISBN (International Standard Book number) is a common identification code for international publishing and book trade. It has been widely used in more than 160 countries and regions in the world after 50 years of development and evolution, and is well known to the publishing industry. However, there are still many deficiencies in the study of the history of international standard book numbers. On the basis of clarifying the history of the development of international standard book numbers, this paper corrects the errors in relevant literature, complements the history of the development of British standard book numbers before 1970, and clarifies the designers of international standard book numbers and the algorithm of checking codes of SBN. The reasons for the rise of international standard book number are also analyzed in depth.
