【摘要】：與科學說明相比,數(shù)學說明在數(shù)學哲學中長期遭到忽視。蒯因提出的不可或缺性論證、愛因斯坦-維格納之謎以及數(shù)學哲學對數(shù)學實踐的日趨重視,使數(shù)學說明重返哲學議程。數(shù)學自身內(nèi)部對說明的需求和自然現(xiàn)象的數(shù)學說明都表明,數(shù)學不僅求真,而且尋求說明。哲學的使命就是要建立數(shù)學說明的相應標準、機制和模型,為數(shù)學決策提供建議,并推進對數(shù)學的本性、數(shù)學與世界及科學之關聯(lián)的理解,為數(shù)學與科學統(tǒng)一的哲學解釋搭建通道。
[Abstract]:Compared with scientific explanation, mathematical explanation has been neglected for a long time in mathematical philosophy. Quine put forward the indispensable argument, the riddle of Einstein Wagner and the increasing attention of mathematical philosophy to mathematical practice. To return mathematical explanation to the philosophical agenda. The mathematical description of the need for explanation and natural phenomena within mathematics itself shows that mathematics not only seeks truth, but also seeks explanation. The mission of philosophy is to establish corresponding standards for mathematical explanation. The mechanism and model provide advice for mathematical decision-making, and promote the understanding of the nature of mathematics, the relationship between mathematics and the world and science, and build a channel for the philosophical interpretation of the unity of mathematics and science.
