在期刊編輯過程中,做好論文的主題標引工作,有助于這些文獻發(fā)表后,能較快和準確的納入圖書、情報部門的文獻檢索系統(tǒng),使其在更大范圍內發(fā)揮作用。同時,也是期刊編排規(guī)范化的需要。論文標引是在對論文進行主題分析的基礎上,選出和標識能概括全文中心內容的主題詞(敘詞)。標引的深度必須適當,選詞選用正式主題詞,若遇到非正式主題詞要加以轉換。如果有的重要概念是縮略語,應采用相應的上位主題詞標引。所選用的標引詞,應以《漢語主題詞表》和各學科所編專業(yè)主題詞表為依據(jù)。對于文章中無文字表達的重要隱含概念,必須用相應主題詞加以標識,以免檢索中造成漏檢。
