【摘要】：在銫原子室溫蒸氣池中研究了弱射頻場中Rydberg原子階梯型三能級系統(tǒng)的電磁感應(yīng)透明(EIT)效應(yīng).銫原子基態(tài)6S_(1/2)、第一激發(fā)態(tài)6P_(3/2)和Rydberg 48D_(5/2)態(tài)形成階梯型三能級系統(tǒng),探測光共振作用于6S_(1/2)(F=4)→6P_(3/2)(F′=5)的躍遷,耦合光在Rydberg躍遷線6P_(3/2)(F′=5)→48D_(5/2)附近掃描,形成Rydberg原子EIT.當(dāng)對銫原子施加一個80 MHz的弱射頻電場時,48D_(5/2)Rydberg原子的EIT光譜發(fā)生Stark頻移和分裂,同時產(chǎn)生由射頻場調(diào)制Rydberg能級的偶數(shù)級邊帶,測量結(jié)果與Floquet理論模擬的結(jié)果相符合.同時,改變?nèi)跎漕l電場的頻率研究了銫Rydberg能級的自電離效應(yīng)對Rydberg原子Stark譜的影響,據(jù)此,我們提出將電極板置于銫原子蒸氣池內(nèi)的方案以減少自電離效應(yīng)的影響.在弱射頻Stark譜中,mj=5/2的Stark譜與mj=1/2,3/2的二級邊帶形成多個能級交叉,這些能級交叉點(diǎn)提供了一種基于原子的精確校準(zhǔn)射頻電場的新方法.
[Abstract]:The electromagnetically induced transparent (EIT) effect in a stepped three-level system of Rydberg atoms in a weak RF field has been investigated in a caesium vapor cell at room temperature. Caesium atom ground state 6S _ (1 / 2), first excited state 6P _ (3 / 2) and Rydberg 48D _ (5 / 2) state form a stepped three-level system, which detects the transition of 6S _ (1 / 2) (F ~ (4) P _ (3 / 2) (F _ (5) (F _ (5). The coupling light is scanned near the Rydberg transition line (6P _ (3 / 2) (F ~ (3 / 2) 48D _ (5) to form a Rydberg atom. When a weak RF electric field of 80 MHz is applied to the cesium atom, the EIT spectrum of the 48D5 / 2 Rydberg atom occurs Stark frequency shift and splitting, and the even sideband of the Rydberg energy level modulated by the RF field is produced. The measured results are in agreement with the results of the Floquet theory simulation. At the same time, the influence of autoionization effect of cesium Rydberg level on the Stark spectrum of Rydberg atom is studied by changing the frequency of weak RF electric field. Based on this, we propose a scheme of placing the electrode plate in the caesium vapor cell to reduce the influence of autoionization effect. In the weak RF Stark spectrum, the Stark spectrum of 5 / 2 and the second order sideband of 1 / 2 / 2 / 2 form multiple energy levels, which provide a new method to accurately calibrate the RF electric field based on atoms.
