超表面領(lǐng)域先驅(qū)人物

【摘要】:超表面是超構(gòu)材料發(fā)展的新趨勢,其二維電磁調(diào)控能力使其擺脫了傳統(tǒng)光學和電磁器件對材料厚度和面形的依賴,為器件的微型化、集成化開辟了全新的技術(shù)途徑。眾多研究人員為超表面領(lǐng)域的快速發(fā)展做出了貢獻,使相關(guān)技術(shù)逐步走向工程應(yīng)用。本期著重介紹其中幾位代表性先驅(qū)人物的研究貢獻,包括量子級聯(lián)激光器發(fā)明人Federico Capasso,頻率選擇表面領(lǐng)域奠基人Ben A.Munk,以及光波段負折射材料先驅(qū)人物Vladimir M.Shalaev。
[Abstract]:Supersurface is a new trend in the development of superstructure materials. Its two-dimensional electromagnetic control ability makes it free from the dependence of the traditional optical and electromagnetic devices on the thickness and surface of the material. It opens up a new technical way for the miniaturization and integration of the devices. Many researchers have made contributions to the rapid development of the Supersurface field and made the related technologies step by step. This period focuses on the research contributions of several representative pioneers, including the quantum cascade laser inventor Federico Capasso, the founder of the frequency selective surface domain Ben A.Munk, and the precursor of the negative refraction material Vladimir M.Shalaev. in the light wave segment.
