無線通信系統(tǒng)中減小能量損耗的小區(qū)呼吸技術(shù)研究
[Abstract]:With the exponential growth of data traffic, cellular network operators are facing a precarious situation: satisfying the rapid growth of traffic while reducing costs and increasing (ARPU). Per user's average income Since electricity charges account for 20% of network operators' spending, the situation will only become more severe as mobile networks consume more energy. In this paper, we propose a new technique called cell scaling to reduce the energy consumption of base stations. By cell scaling, the base station can dynamically adjust their coverage radius and transmit power based on the user's position. According to the user's position and the demand of SNR, the transmit power can be set to the minimum level. Base stations are never completely shut down. We first analyze the behavior of users at every time of the day, so we can establish the relationship between base station density and user density. Then, based on all the information about the number of users in each time of day, we decide to transmit power to meet the needs of each user and ensure the quality of service. We also propose to increase the energy efficiency of some parts of the base station, such as the cooling part, to help us save up to 25% of the total energy consumed by the base station. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can save up to 40% of network energy consumption without reducing the QoS of users.
