[Abstract]:While Swedish astronomers used the Atacama millimeter / sub-millimeter wave array telescope Alma a few days ago, they revealed a powerful magnetic field from a distant galaxy very close to a giant black hole. The findings, published in the April 17 issue of Science, are the latest by five astronomers at Charmoss University of Technology to help understand the structure and form of galactic nuclei. A weak magnetic field has been detected within a few light-years of a black hole. In this study, scientists are at the event horizon of a supermassive black hole.
