從Altmetrics看新技術(shù)論文的傳播——以“基因編輯技術(shù)”論文為例

【摘要】:[目的/意義]通過對新技術(shù)論文的Altmetrics指標(biāo)進(jìn)行分析,探索新技術(shù)論文的傳播特征和規(guī)律。[方法/過程]以"基因編輯技術(shù)"相關(guān)論文為實證分析對象,通過Altmetrics,來考察其用作測度新技術(shù)傳播指標(biāo)的有效性。通過在PLOS網(wǎng)站檢索"genome edit~*",下載406篇相關(guān)論文的ALMs,對論文的引用頻次(Scopus)與在線瀏覽、下載、分享與傳播數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行正態(tài)性檢驗、相關(guān)性分析及曲線擬合,分析PLOS系列期刊論文的社會影響力和學(xué)術(shù)影響力。[結(jié)果/結(jié)論]實驗表明:指標(biāo)間相關(guān)性差異較大,高度相關(guān)的兩變量組合是PLOS Total與Mendeley(r=0.829,p=0.01),Twitter與PLOS Total、Figshare、Scopus、Mendeley微弱相關(guān),Figshare與PLOS Total、Mendeley微弱相關(guān)。期刊官網(wǎng)對論文的傳播優(yōu)勢明顯,但論文的使用與引用與Twitter的相關(guān)度都很低,顯示出Altmetrics指標(biāo)在揭示新技術(shù)傳播方面存在一定的缺陷。Mendeley與PLOS Total最佳的擬合曲線為立方函數(shù)。[局限]研究的數(shù)據(jù)源為PLOS系列期刊,因此,數(shù)據(jù)的全面性方面存在一定的欠缺,結(jié)論能否推廣至其他學(xué)科,有待進(jìn)一步研究補充。
[Abstract]:[objective / significance] through the analysis of the Altmetrics index of the new technology paper, to explore the transmission characteristics and law of the new technology paper. [method / process] take the "gene editing technology" related paper as the empirical analysis object, This paper investigates the validity of Altmetricsas a measure of the spread of new technologies. By searching "genome editorials *" on the PLOS website and downloading 406 related papers, the citation frequency of the papers is compared with that of online browsing, downloading, sharing and disseminating data for normality testing. Correlation analysis and curve fitting were used to analyze the social and academic influence of PLOS series of journal papers. The highly correlated combination of two variables is PLOS Total and Mendeleyn 0.829p0.01. the weak correlation between PLOS Total and PLOS Total Figshareor Scopusshare and PLOS Total Mendeley is weak. There is a significant advantage in the dissemination of papers on the official Journal website, but the correlation between the use of papers and citations and Twitter is very low. It shows that the Altmetrics index has some defects in revealing the spread of new technology. The best fitting curve between Mendeley and PLOS Total is a cubic function. [limited] the data source studied is PLOS series journals, so there is a certain deficiency in the comprehensiveness of the data. Conclusion it is necessary to further study whether it can be extended to other subjects.
