快響應門控光電倍增管設計

【摘要】:門響應時間和消光比是門控光電倍增管的兩個重要性能參數(shù)。介紹了將俄制CHφT5型光電倍增管改制為門控光電倍增管的設計。采用控制光電倍增管第二聚焦極的方法,設計快響應門控制電路,使門控光電倍增管具有3個量級以上的消光比,開門延遲響應時間為70 ns,光電倍增管恢復輸出的時間為20 ns。光電倍增管靈敏度降低了20%。
[Abstract]:Gate response time and extinction ratio are two important performance parameters of gated photomultiplier tube. This paper introduces the design of changing the Russian CH蠁 T 5 photomultiplier tube into a gated photomultiplier tube. A fast response gate control circuit is designed by controlling the second focusing pole of the photomultiplier tube. The gate photomultiplier tube has a extinction ratio of more than three orders of magnitude, and the delay response time of the door is 70 ns,. The recovery time of the photomultiplier tube is 20 ns.. The sensitivity of photomultiplier tube is reduced by 20%.
