片上波動影響下的Mesh結構時鐘系統(tǒng)的性能分析方法

【摘要】:考慮到片上波動對Mesh結構時鐘系統(tǒng)的影響,提出了一種基于統(tǒng)計理論的時鐘系統(tǒng)性能分析方法。該方法的核心思想是在真實的解析函數(shù)難以求解的情況下,采用統(tǒng)計分析方法對該函數(shù)進行擬合。從兩方面著手研究:如何擬合時鐘偏差的概率分布;如何擬合前驅動層時鐘路徑的時延對時鐘偏差的影響。實驗證明,時鐘偏差的概率分布可用正態(tài)分布擬合,而前驅動層時鐘路徑的時延與時鐘偏差的關系可采用多元線性回歸模型進行擬合。因此,這套擬合方法使設計人員能夠通過正態(tài)分布的概率分布函數(shù)評估不確定性約束是否合理;在設計后期,根據(jù)多元線性回歸模型調節(jié)優(yōu)化前驅動層,提高時鐘系統(tǒng)的性能。
[Abstract]:Considering the influence of on-chip fluctuation on Mesh clock system, a performance analysis method of clock system based on statistical theory is proposed. The core idea of this method is that when the real analytic function is difficult to solve, the statistical analysis method is used to fit the function. It is studied from two aspects: how to fit the probability distribution of clock deviation and how to fit the effect of clock path delay on clock deviation in the front drive layer. The experimental results show that the probability distribution of clock deviation can be fitted by normal distribution, and the relationship between clock path delay and clock deviation in front drive layer can be fitted by multiple linear regression model. Therefore, this set of fitting methods enables designers to evaluate the rationality of uncertain constraints through the probability distribution function of normal distribution. At the later stage of design, the optimal pre-drive layer is adjusted according to the multivariate linear regression model to improve the performance of clock system.
