信號交叉口左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)的安全研究

【摘要】:近些年,信號交叉口左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)已經(jīng)在中國許多城市逐漸推廣使用。這種交通設計允許左轉(zhuǎn)車輛在本向直行相位時進入交叉口內(nèi)等待,直到后置左轉(zhuǎn)相位再駛離交叉口。左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)的設置能有效提高交叉口通行能力,減少排隊車輛溢出左轉(zhuǎn)車道的概率。但是關(guān)于左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)運行的安全性至今仍未開展相關(guān)研究。本文首先分析在左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)這種特定的交通組織方式下左轉(zhuǎn)車流具有的交通特性,再基于交通沖突技術(shù)展開左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)的安全分析。在比較交通沖突嚴重程度的兩個主要指標:time to collision (TTC)和post-encroachment time (PET)的特點后,本文選用PET值作為指標并將交通沖突分為潛在沖突、輕微沖突與嚴重沖突。論文研究了各種類型交通沖突的發(fā)生機理,對比分析有/無左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)下,交叉口內(nèi)沖突類型分布的差異性,還建立了ordered probit模型來探索與左轉(zhuǎn)沖突相關(guān)的顯著影響因素,并計算影響因素對各種等級沖突的邊際效應值。研究結(jié)果表明,相比無左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)交叉口,左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)交叉口PET值普遍較大,交通運營更為安全,其中左轉(zhuǎn)與對向直行沖突數(shù)量與嚴重程度都明顯降低。但是左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)交叉口內(nèi)的合流沖突比例卻明顯提高。根據(jù)模型回歸,左轉(zhuǎn)交通量、車輛是否在待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)外行駛、是否闖紅燈、是否存在追尾沖突以及二次沖突等因素顯著加劇左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)交通沖突的嚴重性。論文最后提出左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)安全設置的條件與方法。本文研究的結(jié)果將有助于完善現(xiàn)有的左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)設計與管理,提高左彎待轉(zhuǎn)區(qū)交叉口運營安全水平。
[Abstract]:In recent years, the left bend waiting area of signalized intersections has been gradually popularized in many cities in China. This traffic design allows left-turn vehicles to enter the intersections and wait when they are in the original direct phase. Until the left turn phase and then leave the intersection. The left bend waiting area can effectively improve the capacity of the intersection, The probability of queue vehicles overflowing left turning lane is reduced. However, the safety of left turning zone has not been studied. This paper first analyzes the left turn traffic flow under the specific traffic organization mode of left turn waiting area. Traffic characteristics, After comparing the characteristics of two main indexes of traffic conflict severity:: time to collision (TTCs) and post-encroachment time (post-encroachment), this paper selects the PET value as the index and classifies traffic conflicts into potential conflicts. This paper studies the mechanism of various types of traffic conflicts and analyzes the differences of conflict types in intersections with or without left bends. The ordered probit model is also established to explore the significant factors related to the left-turn conflict, and to calculate the marginal effects of the factors on the conflicts of various grades. The PET value at the intersection of the left corner waiting for turning area is generally larger, and the traffic operation is more safe. The number and severity of conflict between left turn and opposite direction are obviously decreased. However, the proportion of confluence conflict in the intersection of left turn and turn area is obviously increased. According to the model regression, whether or not the vehicle is driving outside the waiting area, according to the model regression, Whether to run a red light, Whether there is a rear-end conflict or a secondary conflict has significantly aggravated the severity of the traffic conflict in the left turn waiting area. Finally, the paper puts forward the conditions and methods for the safety setting of the left turn waiting area. The results of this paper will be helpful to improve the traffic conflict.
