【摘要】：本文試圖從搜尋匹配視角,以出生性別結(jié)構(gòu)失衡解釋日益普遍的婚姻推遲現(xiàn)象。從經(jīng)濟學(xué)角度看,婚姻推遲可以視為單身男女搜尋匹配過程的受阻。性別比通過搜尋成本和收益,影響男女進入婚姻的進程。模型分析表明,性別比上升將提高男性未婚人口比例,但降低女性未婚人口比例。利用中國1995-2009年省級數(shù)據(jù),聯(lián)立方程回歸結(jié)果表明:性別比上升是男性婚姻推遲的重要原因。性別比與男性未婚人口比例顯著正相關(guān),但與女性未婚人口比例顯著負相關(guān)。這意味著,出生性別比的居高不下,將導(dǎo)致大量男性婚姻推遲。因而,引導(dǎo)性別比回歸自然狀態(tài),有利于逐步消除婚姻推遲現(xiàn)象。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to explain the increasingly common phenomenon of marriage delay from the point of view of search and match. From an economic point of view, marriage postponement can be seen as a hindrance to the search for matching between single men and women. By searching for costs and benefits, the sex ratio affects the process in which men and women enter marriage. The model analysis shows that the increase of sex ratio will increase the proportion of male unmarried population, but reduce the proportion of female unmarried population. Using the provincial data from 1995 to 2009 in China, the results of simultaneous equation regression show that the increase of sex ratio is an important reason for the delay of marriage in men. Sex ratio was positively correlated with male unmarried population, but negatively correlated with female unmarried population. This means that the high sex ratio at birth will lead to the postponement of a large number of male marriages. Therefore, to guide the sex ratio to return to the natural state is conducive to the gradual elimination of the phenomenon of marriage delay.
