當項目管理者面對一項將要失敗的項目時,通常需要做出是否進一步提高投入的承諾。本論文擬研究項目完工程度和管理者心理因素對于項目管理者承諾升級（escalation of commitment）行為的影響。雖然已經(jīng)有很多理論解釋承諾升級的問題,但目前為止從心理動機理論的角度進行的研究尚不深入。本文基于Higgins （1997）的調(diào)節(jié)點理論（Regulatory Focus theory）,用實證檢驗的方法探討這一問題。Higgins（1997,1998）的調(diào)節(jié)點理論認為,個體有兩種明顯不同的自我管理點,來促使行為和目標一致,分別是提升調(diào)節(jié)點（promotion）和防御調(diào)節(jié)點（prevention）。處于提升調(diào)節(jié)點的個體會更關心效用的提升,對項目潛在的正面結果（項目潛在的收益）更加敏感,并且傾向于用激進的方法追求目標。而處于防御調(diào)節(jié)點的個體更關心安全性,對于潛在的負面結果（項目潛在的損失）更敏感,同時傾向于用保守的方法的追求目標。如果管理者的調(diào)節(jié)點不同,可能會導致其行為表現(xiàn)不同。本研究設計中,所有被試者都面對一個將要失敗的項目方案,本文通過觀測具有不同調(diào)節(jié)點的被試者其行為決策的不同來得到結...
