美國大學發(fā)展史上牧師型校長的領導過程與特征

【摘要】：牧師型校長是17世紀到19世紀中期美國大學發(fā)展史上的一個具有鮮明治校特征的群體。他們面臨的歷史使命和美國大學發(fā)展歷史階段的特點,決定了他們的治校手段、方式不同于其它歷史時期的校長治校。在篳路藍縷的開拓進取中,他們用獨特的領導智慧維系并推動了美國高等教育的發(fā)展。宗教色彩與學生關懷成為牧師型校長領導院校發(fā)展的主要特征。
[Abstract]:Pastoral president is a group with distinctive characteristics in the history of the development of American universities from the 17 th century to the middle of the 19 th century. The historical mission they face and the characteristics of the historical stage of the development of American universities determine their methods of governing their schools, which are different from those of presidents in other historical periods. In their pioneering efforts, they maintained and promoted the development of higher education in the United States with their unique leadership wisdom. Religious color and student concern have become the main characteristics of the development of pastoral principal leadership colleges.
