【摘要】：正與擁有十多億人口、并且為建設(shè)世界一流大學(xué)投入前所未有經(jīng)費(fèi)的中國(guó)內(nèi)地相比,為什么七百萬(wàn)人口的中國(guó)香港特區(qū)能夠擁有更多排名靠前的研究型大學(xué)?對(duì)這個(gè)問(wèn)題的探討,也許會(huì)為全球研究型大學(xué)的發(fā)展提供重要啟迪。一、香港大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)現(xiàn)狀香港有三所大學(xué)在世界大學(xué)排名中得分斐然,而且所有的八所公立大學(xué)在學(xué)術(shù)上的成就也令世人尊重。這三所名�！愀鄞髮W(xué)、香港科技大學(xué)、香港中文大學(xué)——在"泰晤士高等教育"2011年度排名分別為第34、61和151名。
[Abstract]:Compared with the mainland of China, which has a population of more than 1 billion and has invested an unprecedented amount of money in building world-class universities, why can the Hong Kong Special Administrative region of China, with a population of 7 million, have more top research universities? The discussion of this issue may provide important inspiration for the development of research universities around the world. One, the academic status of the University of Hong Kong, three universities in Hong Kong have scored well in the ranking of the world's universities. And the academic achievements of all eight public universities are respected. The three prestigious universities-the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong-ranked 3461 and 151 respectively in the Times higher Education rankings in 2011.
