銜接和連貫理論在大學英語完形填空教學中的應用

語篇的銜接與連貫是語篇研究的核心,語篇的構成必須靠銜接與連貫之間的相互作用。銜接(cohesion)可以定義為在一篇文章中的各個部分之間的語法和詞匯關系,它是使語篇構成一個有形的網(wǎng)絡而且具有顯明性,銜接手段分為五大類:照應(reference)、替代(substitution)、省略(ellipsis)、連接(conjunction)以及詞匯銜接(1exical cohesion),前四種屬于語法銜接(Grammatical cohesion)。連貫是指在語篇中能被讀者感覺到的“意義連續(xù)系”,它是語篇的無形網(wǎng)絡并且它具有隱含性。 對銜接和連貫理論在大學英語完形填空教學中的應用的文獻進行全面學習之后,本文作者發(fā)現(xiàn)雖然完形填空被認為是一種能夠測試被試使用語言綜合能力的題型,但是到目前為止很少有人對銜接和連貫理論在大學英語完形填空教學中的應用進行研究,因此作者認為此項研究非常有必要。此外,當作者在對大學一年級學生進行問卷調查時發(fā)現(xiàn),完形填空是令他們感到最難的題型。而當問到他們如何做題時,很多學生說他們只是從傳統(tǒng)語法的角度孤立地去看有空項所在的句子并且分析該句子的結構而不是從整體著眼分析各個語...
