【摘要】：美國經(jīng)濟社會及高等教育的變遷及相互作用,凸顯了公立大學所承載的社會責任與使命期待。作為美國公立高等教育的典范,加州大學確立了促進社會流動、維護社會公正的核心價值和辦學取向,積極開展多種教育推廣項目,持續(xù)擴大辦學規(guī)模,科學實施招生錄取,努力調(diào)控收費增長,加強學生經(jīng)濟資助,合理設置學科專業(yè),全面保障教育品質(zhì),切實培植多元文化,在促進弱勢階層子弟向上流動方面展現(xiàn)了有力的作為和良好的成效,獲得了公眾的好評。加州大學在促進社會流動方面的成功經(jīng)驗,為中國大學提供了強化促進社會流動的價值認同、促進國家相關政策的變革創(chuàng)新以及加強大學相關制度建設與政策行動等重要啟示。
[Abstract]:The changes and interactions of American economy, society and higher education highlight the social responsibility and mission expectation of public universities. As a model of public higher education in the United States, the University of California has established the core value and orientation of promoting social mobility and maintaining social justice, actively developing a variety of educational promotion projects, continuously expanding the scale of running a school, and scientifically implementing enrollment and admission. Efforts have been made to regulate and control the increase in fees, strengthen financial assistance for students, rationally set up disciplines and specialties, comprehensively guarantee the quality of education, and effectively cultivate multiculturalism, and have shown strong action and good results in promoting upward mobility of children from the disadvantaged strata. It was well received by the public. The successful experience of the University of California in promoting social mobility provides Chinese universities with important enlightenment such as strengthening the value identity of promoting social mobility, promoting the reform and innovation of relevant national policies, and strengthening the institutional construction and policy action of universities.
