【摘要】：在中國近現(xiàn)代高等教育史上,1917年是既平凡而又不平凡的一年。這一年,以蔡元培、胡適、陶行知為代表的一批新型知識分子相繼進入大學,他們主導了中國大學在制度和觀念上的種種變革,加速了中國大學從傳統(tǒng)學府向"研究高深學問之機關(guān)"的轉(zhuǎn)變,加速了科學與民主要素在大學里的生長。1917年是中國高等教育從近代轉(zhuǎn)型到現(xiàn)代的重要過渡之年。
[Abstract]:In the history of Chinese modern higher education, 1917 was both ordinary and extraordinary. This year, a group of new intellectuals, represented by Cai Yuanpei, Hu Shi and Tao Xingzhi, entered universities one after another. They led various changes in the system and concept of Chinese universities, and accelerated the transformation of Chinese universities from traditional institutions to "institutions of advanced learning". It accelerated the growth of scientific and democratic elements in universities. 1917 was an important transition year from modern to modern higher education in China.
