[Abstract]:On this occasion today, what we do as students can say what we were embarrassed to say in front of Mr. Qian. There are a lot of words like this. Today, just one thing: why do we get used to calling him "Mr." rather than a "teacher"? he writes well, has a special academic contribution, and is a rare good teacher. But we call him "sir", and there are other deeper reasons: one of which is, of course, his thoroughness; he is always so easygoing and willing to say that he is "scattered", but you will know over time that this is not just by nature. There is a deep inner conflict behind it. It comes from a long time of spiritual practice. It is a way of responding to the world that can only be nurtured when things are in the end.
