PPPoE協(xié)議研究與改進

【摘要】:PPPoE協(xié)議基于兩個廣泛接受的標準:PPP點對點協(xié)議和802.3以太網(wǎng)標準。PPPoE的目的是在以太網(wǎng)共享介質(zhì)的網(wǎng)絡上提供一條的點到點的邏輯鏈路,從而使得以太網(wǎng)中的用戶都能與寬帶接入服務器建立邏輯PPP連接。PPPoE充分利用了以太網(wǎng)的尋址能力,通過這種方式,用戶不需要深刻地了解局域網(wǎng)技術只需要通過用戶名密碼撥號上網(wǎng);并且運營商也不用耗費巨資改造目前的局域網(wǎng)結構。PPPoE是目前廣泛使用的接入網(wǎng)協(xié)議,提供良好的鑒權、計費機制。雖然目前城市網(wǎng)絡構建良好,接入網(wǎng)采用光纖、5類雙絞線等支持高帶寬、大容量的傳輸介質(zhì),然而在某些特殊場景下,例如老舊的網(wǎng)絡,接入網(wǎng)鏈路質(zhì)量無法得到保障。本文因為項目需求,需要對這樣的網(wǎng)絡進行網(wǎng)絡改造。由于實際條件的限制,采用通過網(wǎng)絡協(xié)議優(yōu)化的方式來為特殊的網(wǎng)絡場景服務。本文介紹了PPPoE協(xié)議以及PPP協(xié)議,分析了網(wǎng)絡中時延以及網(wǎng)絡終端設備處理能力差異的原因以及解決方案,并且提出了服務器根據(jù)終端設備鏈路質(zhì)量動態(tài)實施時延容忍機制,改善網(wǎng)絡設備由于鏈路質(zhì)量而頻道掉線的問題,除此之外還提出通過對PPPoE頭部壓縮以及IP頭部壓縮提高網(wǎng)絡鏈路帶寬利用率。在實現(xiàn)部分,本文提出服務器采用轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)與控制分離的分布式架構,從而可以運用于大規(guī)模的路由接入,提高轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)性能;客戶端采用嵌入式Linux,在程序模塊設計中針對性地實現(xiàn)PPPoE協(xié)議主要功能,盡量使代碼簡潔。最后根據(jù)實際應用場景模擬了相似的應用場景,通過測試表明對PPPoE協(xié)議的優(yōu)化,在鏈路質(zhì)量不佳的情況下增加了客戶端的同時在線數(shù),并且減小了傳輸時延、節(jié)約了網(wǎng)絡帶寬,滿足項目需求。
[Abstract]:The PPPoE protocol is based on two widely accepted standards: the PPP point-to-point protocol and the 802.3 Ethernet standard. PPPoE aims to provide a point-to-point logical link on a network of Ethernet shared media. So that all users in Ethernet can establish logical PPP connection with broadband access server. PPPoE makes full use of the addressing ability of Ethernet, through this way, Users do not need to deeply understand the LAN technology only through user name and password dial-up Internet access, and operators do not have to spend a lot of money to reform the current LAN structure. PPPoE is a widely used access network protocol, providing good authentication, Accounting mechanism. Although the current urban network is well constructed, the access network uses high bandwidth and large capacity transmission media such as optical fiber, 5 kinds of twisted pair cable, etc. However, in some special scenarios, such as the old network, the link quality of access network can not be guaranteed. Because of project requirement, this article needs to carry on the network transformation to this kind of network. Due to the limitation of practical conditions, network protocol optimization is adopted to serve special network scenarios. This paper introduces the PPPoE protocol and the PPP protocol, analyzes the reasons and solutions of the delay and the difference of the network terminal equipment processing capacity, and proposes a dynamic delay tolerance mechanism based on the terminal equipment link quality. In addition to improving the problem of channel dropping due to link quality in network devices, it is also proposed to improve the bandwidth utilization of network links by compression of PPPoE headers and IP header compression. In the implementation part, this paper proposes that the server adopts distributed architecture of separate forwarding and control, which can be applied to large-scale routing access and improve forwarding performance. The client adopts embedded Linux, to realize the main functions of PPPoE protocol in the program module design, and makes the code as simple as possible. Finally, the similar application scenarios are simulated according to the actual application scenarios. The test results show that the optimization of PPPoE protocol can increase the number of simultaneously online clients in the case of poor link quality, reduce the transmission delay and save the network bandwidth.
