[Abstract]:After eight years of research into van Gogh's painting methods and materials, an exhibition was held at the Van Gogh Museum. Reveals how Van Gogh did his painting. Bedroom is one of van Gogh's most well-known and popular paintings. The painting, which began in the autumn of 1888, depicts the small, sparsely laid-out bedroom of the artist's home in Alle Huang's house. Van Gogh had hoped to set up an art district in Arles. The graphic composition and slightly tilted angle of the painting are reminiscent of Japanese floating-world prints, where both van Gogh and his brother Theo were fascinated, and van Gogh wrote to Theo admitting that he intended to lay down.
