【摘要】：正撫順市圖書館始建于1952年11月5日,原館名為"撫順市人民圖書館",館舍面積1100平方米,1954年改名為"撫順市圖書館",1974年館舍遷至新?lián)釁^(qū)永寧路市勞動公園西側(cè),2001年6月館舍遷至順城區(qū)渾河北路4號,2014年4月遷入現(xiàn)館址,2014年5月16日新館開館,新館建筑面積10 000平方米。撫順市圖書館現(xiàn)有館藏90余萬冊,包括近4萬冊古籍、中外文圖書及各類數(shù)據(jù)庫、電子圖書、期刊等各類文獻。撫順市圖書館常年組織各類講座、展覽、讀者沙龍活動,并形成了"讀書節(jié)"等總計達96TB的視頻資源,連續(xù)多年接待讀者均在百萬人次以上。
