[Abstract]:Combining human intuition with computer fairness can improve organizational decisions, reduce costs and increase profits. A recent study showed that computer program analysis helped Dow AgroSciences' business division improve the accuracy of its forecasts, increasing its profits by 2 to 3 percent and reducing costs by 6 percent to 7 percent.
