中國EFL工/文科本科生畢業(yè)論文英語摘要中的交際及互動類元話語研究

  近年來,元話語研究受到越來越多的關(guān)注,集結(jié)了大量成果。前人的研究證明,元話語在語篇理解和學(xué)術(shù)寫作等方面的重要性,F(xiàn)有文獻中,相關(guān)研究多集中在對整體學(xué)術(shù)語篇中的元話語的剖析,分析的語篇多為碩博研究生論文或?qū)W術(shù)期刊論文,而針對學(xué)位論文摘要中元話語使用情況的實證研究較少,尤其是從跨學(xué)科角度對國內(nèi)高校本科畢業(yè)論文英文摘要的研究仍有很大空間。因此,有必要從元話語的視角進行探討,為本科學(xué)生英語學(xué)術(shù)摘要寫作教學(xué)提供參考。本文以Hyland的元話語理論為支撐,借用該理論中的分類模式為操作定義,通過分層抽樣選取國內(nèi)某高校200個本科畢業(yè)論文英語摘要為分析語料(工科及文科各100個),運用定性的個案分析和定量的頻度考察兩種方法,對其中交際類和互動類元話語的使用情況進行調(diào)查,解讀背后所表達的功能,并探討工科(土木工程和電氣化工程)及文科(公共管理和大眾傳媒)學(xué)士學(xué)位論文英語摘要中元話語使用的異同。研究旨在考查中國本科畢業(yè)論文英語摘要中元話語的使用特點,探討兩類不同學(xué)科是否會對論文英語摘要中元話語的使用產(chǎn)生影響。研究結(jié)果顯示:(1)兩組學(xué)生使用交際類元話語均多于互動類元話語。這可能因為交際類元話語的恰當使用可...
