銜接是語篇分析領域中最基本的概念,也是語篇分析的重要課題。照應是最常見的語法銜接手段。本文以立法語篇中的銜接為研究切入點,選取了《中華人民共和國合同法》、《中華人民共和國票據(jù)法》和《美國統(tǒng)一商法典》中內(nèi)容相對應的兩章法律條文作為研究語料,以韓禮德和哈桑的銜接理論為基礎,采用定量分析和定性分析相結合的辦法,運用對比分析系統(tǒng)比較了銜接鈕帶之一——照應在中英立法文本中的異同,并提出了相應的中英文對應策略。本文研究發(fā)現(xiàn),對比普通語篇與立法語篇,兩者中的照應有明顯的不同;若將對比范圍縮小至立法語篇,中英兩者中的照應既有相似又有區(qū)別。首先,在人稱照應方面,英語立法語篇的照應詞選擇更為多樣化,漢語立法語篇的照應詞則和日常語篇中的用詞有較大不同,典型的例子包括以“其”為主,以及用零指稱實現(xiàn)照應。其次,在指示照應方面,英語立法語篇中的this與漢語立法語篇中的“本”的使用幾乎對等,都用于修飾權威性的詞語。此外,在比較照應方面,具體的比較在兩種語言的立法語篇中均較少使用,而一般比較在兩種立法文本更為常見,從次數(shù)來看在英語立法文本中出現(xiàn)得更為頻繁。在理論層面,本文對中英文照應的使用特點及異同進行分析,彌補了...
