隨著中國加入WTO,對外經(jīng)貿(mào)往來不可避免地日益增多,各種相關(guān)的法律文件也發(fā)揮著越來越重要的作用。由于英語是世界通用的語言,英文法律文件也成為全球使用范圍最廣、使用頻率最高的法律文件。與此同時,中國作為世界一極,地位不斷上升,中文法律文件也日趨重要。鑒于中外語言、文化及法律體系方面的差異客觀存在,為便于法律文件的各有關(guān)方能夠進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)確、有效的理解與溝通,對法律文件進(jìn)行翻譯的必要性和重要性日漸凸顯。然而,國內(nèi)對于漢外法律文件互譯（包括英漢互譯）規(guī)律性的認(rèn)識和研究尚存在著一定差距。同時,由于漢、英兩種語言本身就有較大差異,中國作為大陸法系國家與英美法系國家在文化和法律體系方面的差異也非常顯著,所有這些因素使得英文法律文件的漢譯成為難度最大的翻譯種類之一;其中的復(fù)雜長句更成為影響譯文質(zhì)量的瓶頸。本文從以上客觀現(xiàn)實(shí)和需要出發(fā),結(jié)合作者自身的從業(yè)經(jīng)驗,詳細(xì)分析了英文法律文本和其中復(fù)雜長句的特點(diǎn),列舉了漢、英兩種語言之間的差異,論證了翻譯時應(yīng)采取的策略,即宏觀上采取異化翻譯策略,適當(dāng)輔之以歸化翻譯;并進(jìn)而提出了相應(yīng)的翻譯方法,以期對法律文本翻譯的研究和實(shí)踐有所裨益。本文共分六章。作為引論,第一章介紹了...
