【摘要】： 在翻譯中,語用充實是以語境為基礎,對各種信息“斷點”或空缺進行補充,盡可能減少聽話人/讀者所付出的推理努力,使聽話人/讀者找到了說話人/作者話語同語境假設之間的最佳關聯(lián)(optimal relevance),以達到交際成功。 語用充實的概念來自于詞匯語用學,這是詞匯意義研究的一個新領域,其最終的目的就是如何對詞語或結構的語義信息和其在使用中語境信息之間的信息差進行以語境為依托的語用充實。詞匯語用學的研究主要有兩個理論途徑:基于會話含意機制和基于關聯(lián)理論。本論文采用的是從關聯(lián)理論出發(fā)看語用充實。 在關聯(lián)理論的框架內,翻譯是一種對源語進行闡釋的明示-推理(ostensive-inferential)過程,譯者根據交際者的意圖和受體的期待進行取舍,從而實現(xiàn)作者與讀者之間對相關信息(特別是非明示信息)的認知共現(xiàn),獲得最佳關聯(lián)。關聯(lián)性的強弱由語境效果和推理努力來判斷:語境效果越好,關聯(lián)性越強;推理努力越小,關聯(lián)性越強。 本文通過對大量中外立法文本及其譯本研究,分析法律術語翻譯中為實現(xiàn)最佳關聯(lián)存在的難點,包括術語不一致,法律體制不一致,以及常用詞在法律語境下表達的特殊意義等。在提出這些問題后再分析如何通過語用充實的過程克服以上困難,實現(xiàn)最佳關聯(lián),其中包括對多義詞的語用收縮,對強概括性詞語的語用充實,對不同語言層面表達形式的語用充實,以及對不同法律體制表現(xiàn)形式的語用充實。
[Abstract]:In translation, pragmatic enrichment is context-based, complements various information "breakpoints" or gaps, and minimizes the inferential efforts of the hearer / reader. The hearer / reader can find the optimal relevance between the speaker / author's utterance and the contextual hypothesis in order to achieve a successful communication. The concept of pragmatic enrichment comes from lexical pragmatics, which is a new field in the study of lexical meaning. Its ultimate purpose is how to enrich the semantic information of words or structures and the information difference between the information in use and context information based on context. There are two theoretical approaches to lexical pragmatics: conversational implicature and relevance theory. In this thesis, pragmatic enrichment is viewed from the perspective of relevance theory. Within the framework of relevance theory, translation is an ostensive-inferentialprocess that interprets the source language. In order to achieve the cognitive co-occurrence of relevant information (especially non-explicit information) between the author and the reader, the best correlation can be obtained. The intensity of relevance is judged by contextual effect and inference effort: the better the contextual effect, the stronger the relevance, and the less the inferential effort, the stronger the relevance. By studying a large number of Chinese and foreign legislative texts and their translations, this paper analyzes the difficulties in the translation of legal terms in order to achieve the best relevance, including the inconsistency of terms and the inconsistency of legal system. And the special meaning of common words expressed in the legal context. After these questions are raised, the author analyzes how to overcome the above difficulties through the process of pragmatic enrichment and how to achieve the best relevance, including the pragmatic contraction of polysemous words and the pragmatic enrichment of strong generality words. The pragmatic enrichment of different linguistic expression forms and the pragmatic enrichment of different legal systems.
